Blue Raddish Girl's Vegas Epiphanies
Ironically, I had lot of ‘crafting’ epiphanies; many of which likely have a VERY small, non-existent target market and involve sewing and collaging. So look out for some travel, rubber-cement, Singer, inspired STUFF! In the meantime....

- 1. You really can’t tell the difference between a normal cute chick and a prostitute anymore. Apparently I missed the message that exposing the butt cheek, regardless of firmness or size, is now the “in” thing.
- The strip is full of unique architecture -- much of which has been inspired by the rest of the world or other parts of the US. Henceforth, it seems to be an ideal place for non-passport-carrying Americans to visit!
- Gambling is an upper and a downer and is, in general, a really silly hobby if you are a novice. On the flip side, I compare it to buying something that you really didn’t need or don’t use – something we have all done. So we all have had a problem at one time or another….
- Fremont Street Rocks. For many, this is old ghetto Vegas – but it was my favorite. They advertised $3.75 chili dog meals and there was fabulous retro neon everywhere you looked. So fabulous, that I think I may consider getting the Glitter Gulch woman tattooed somewhere on my body. She embodies strength, sex, and optimism.
- Vegas attracts every single socio-economic sliver of America – and I am not sure why. As much as I relish new sites and sounds, a lot of these sites and sounds were overpriced…. $5 drip coffee, $12 wine, and $14 Funky Monkey’s to name a few.
- The Marketing Tip of the Day: Hire sweaty men to stand on street corners and flick business cards in the faces of walker-bys. There is something weird about a sweaty (and ugly) man handing you a card promoting peep shows.
- It really doesn’t matter where you meet good friends. We had a blast with our dear friends M&S. We WOWed everyone with the answer to the ‘where are you from question?’. Say no more….the two trendiest, hottest states in America are Kansas and Montana.
- Cab drivers are fun people. We had 4 cab drivers that could have fueled best sellers.
- Irish music warms my soul. And this isn’t because I have a funky Irish last name. You go anywhere around the world and walk into an Irish bar with an Irish band and you will find very happy drunk people.
